How to clear the cache on different browsers

In this article you will learn how to clear the cache of different browsers and devices.

 

Google Chrome

Follow these steps to clear the cache for Google Chrome:

  1.  Click the three dots on the top right.

  2. Select Delete browsing data.

  3. Tick Cookies and other site data, and Cached images and files. Once ticked, click Delete data.

    Once these steps are complete, your cache should be cleared.

 

Firefox

 

Follow these steps to clear the cache for Firefox:

  1. Click the three stripes on the top right.

  2. Go to Settings.

  3. Choose Privacy & Security.

  4. Under Cookies & site data, click Clear data.

  5. Tick Cookies and Site data, and Temporary cached files and pages. Click Clear once ticked.

    After following these steps, your cache will now be clear.

 

Opera

 

To clear the cache for Opera, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the three stripes in the top-right corner.

  2. Scroll down and select Clear next to Browsing data.

  3. Tick Cookies and other site data, and Cached images and files. Once selected, click Delete data.

    Once you have deleted the data, your cache will be clear.

 

Safari

 

Follow these steps to clear the cache for Safari:

  1. Click on Safari menu.

  2. Choose Settings.

  3. Select Develop in the menu bar, and click on Empty Caches.

    Your cache should be empty after finishing these steps.

 

Microsoft Edge

 

To clear your Microsoft Edge cache, follow these steps:

  1. Click the three horizontal dots in the top right.

  2. Select Settings.

  3. Find Privacy, search, and services.

  4. Scroll down and click Choose what to clear.

  5. Select All time.

  6. Tick Cached images and files. Once selected, click Clear now.

    After these steps are complete, your cache will be clear.

 

Chrome on Android

 

Follow these steps to clear your Chrome cache on Android:

  1. Tap the three dots at the top-right corner.

  4. Tick Cached images and files, and tap on Delete data.

    Once these steps are complete, your cache will be cleared.

 

Safari on iPhone

 

To clear your cache for Safari on iPhone, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Settings, and find Safari.

  2. Tap on Clear History and Website Data.

Once you have completed these steps, you should have successfully cleared your browser cache.
